From the Home menu on your iPhone tap on the Settings icon. |

Slide down your settings page to the bottom and tap on the Mail, Contact, Calendar section to go into there. |

This screen shows the accounts page with an account already added, however if you haven't set up an email previously it may look a bit different. Tap on add account to start the account creation process. |

For this tutorial for setting up GTP email accounts we will need to click Other, if you need support for setting up other types of email like Gmail or Yahoo you can find that at the appropriate systems support page. Tap Other. |

GTP uses POP (aka POP3) mail for our email servers. So tap that and make sure it's highlighted in blue as it is on the left. The following information must be filed out. Name: The name you wish your emails to come from. Host Name: mail.gtp.com.au |

The outgoing settings here should be whatever your ISP is at home where you connect through Wi-Fi, if you don't connect your iPhone through any sort of Wi-Fi then just put in mail.gtp.com.au as the host name and we'll switch it to your networks outgoing settings later. |

Save your changes and you should be put back to this screen, tap on the email account you just setup (Email will be replaced with your description you set earlier). |

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and you should see the following options. Tap on SMTP to setup your outgoing settings. |

As this iPhone is on Optus under "Other SMTP servers" it says Optus SMTP Server but will say a different one depending on whether you iPhone is on another network. Tap on the OPTUS SMTP Server (or your networks equivalent) and flick the tab at the top to ON. This will now route your outgoing email through your Phone. You may turn on a primary outgoing email account if you wish for use
when your on a Wi-Fi network. |

You will want to confirm that Delete from Server is set to Never. |
